Why go with Wildside to the Galapagos?
• Kevin has been to the Galapagos 25+ times and knows the best itineraries!
• We spend more time on the islands than any other company.
• We usually arrive 90 minutes before any other boat and stay long after they leave!
• We visit the islands at the best time of day as well!
• You get personal attention from two tour leaders PLUS a local Galapagos naturalist!

Everyone should visit the Galapagos Islands… the experience is magical! During our adventure we will seek out the endemic species of birds and other animals of the Galapagos. Some of the bird species include Darwin’s finches, Galapagos Penguin, Galapagos Hawk, Galapagos Dove, Swallow-tailed Gull and Waved Albatross—doing their wonderful courtship dance! Other creatures we will see include Land Iguanas, Marine Iguanas, Lava Lizards and two endemic species of butterflies.

Photographic opportunities abound as each day will include land excursions on different islands. Most days will also include snorkeling opportunities to enjoy swimming with sea lions, sea turtles and hundreds of species of fish! We will also fit within our schedule mini photo workshops to help you get the best images of each location we visit.

Catherine Hamilton is an artist known for her unique style. A former instructor at one of the worlds top art schools, Catherine will share her techniques in field sketching and watercolor paints throughout the trip.

Kevin Loughlin, nature photographer and founder of Wildside, has lead over 25 trips to the Galapagos since 2001 and is intimately familiar with the landscape and wildlife. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of the flora and fauna as well as helping all skill levels of photographers to get thire best images possible.

“Galapagos and mainland Ecuador was incredible, even better than I expected — and I had had high expectations. Kevin Loughlin, the president of Wildside Nature Tours, is an expert birder, naturalist, and photographer as well as being helpful and a genuinely nice guy. A great tour leader, he smoothly led us through complicated logistics that would have been formidable for a single traveler. The tour was so well done in fact that one of the first things I did upon returning home was to sign up for his tour of Costa Rica. I will be going there next April.”
— David M, Boulder, CO

Single Room Preferred (HOTEL ONLY)
Prices are per person double occupancy. If a single room is preferred in our Quito hotel, a single supplement fee of $300 will be charged.

Single Cabin on the YACHT and HOTEL

Included in the Tour Cost:
All ground transportation, including transfers from arrival airport. R/T flights Quito/Galapagos/Quito. All accommodations (hotel and yacht). All meals from breakfast on first full day through breakfast on departure day. Tips for meal service on.

WILDSIDE NATURE TOURS

Kevin Loughlin was raised to appreciate nature while exploring the woodlands of Pennsylvania as a child. At age six, during a family trip through the American West, Kevin became fascinated with photography as well seeing the new and different birds throughout North America. Instilled with a love for travel and seeking new, exciting destinations he felt a desire to share his experiences with others and in 1993 he created Wildside.

Kevin’s photographs and articles have appeared in publications such as Nature Photographer, WildBird, Audubon and Philadelphia Magazines, as well as the many natural history books.

Kevin teaches beginning birding classes and nature photography classes through several adult education venues as well as through seminars and workshops for groups, organizations and schools.
