How to take more beautiful, more interesting, more creative, and more original photographs than ever before

The best of a photography tour, and the best of a photography class

If you would like to take amazing photographs of lush high-desert cascading creaks and other natural wonders, and learn to take them even better than before, then this is the workshop for you. We will be looking at several key photography opportunities and you will be creating exciting nature photos with your camera. This workshop is an entirely different approach to taking photographs which enhances the artistic nature of your images, and causes them to be significantly more interesting.

A digital SLR (DSLR) really is needed for this workshop.  Also:

  • Extra batteries
  • Extra SD Card
  • Adjustable or ND16 Neutral Density Filter that screws into the UV Filter ring of your lens from 200-300mm
  • Tripod heavy-duty enough to handle your heaviest lens
  • Water
  • Sun protection
  • Hiking Boots

Fitness Requirements:

With class sizes no larger than four participants, the workshop focuses on lush creeks and waterways of the Arizona High Desert. We start with a spectacular location for beautiful cascades and reflection ponds, and then move on to amazing natural architecture which includes really gorgeous photo opportunities. The workshop is instructed by David Westfall. Your guide will be spending individual time with each participant, helping each one develop new approaches to their photography subjects

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

Payment in full when booking; no deposits are required

Cancellations are not accepted when within 30 calendar days of this workshop. However, Rescheduling is allowed free of charge up to 10 days prior to your workshop. Any rescheduling less than 10 days prior to the workshop will require a fee of 50% of the retail workshop cost. There is no rescheduling 6 or less days prior to your workshop. This policy is necessary because of expenses incurred on our end to properly prepare for these workshops.
