The storytelling, darkroom printing and bookbinding weekend workshop in Florence is designed to leave you with a series of darkroom prints that tell a personal story, made into a beautiful PhotoBooklet.

You will be guided through the storytelling phase via a Skype session 10-15 days before the workshop with Federico Caponi, Analog Photography and Documentary professor at the Photography Academy in Warsaw and one of the “Photobooklet” founders and instructors since 2015.

You can shoot 2 films to cover your story, and you can consult Federico at any time.

The weekend of June 15th/16th, you will process your images and start printing them at Lina Bessonova’s darkroom, as well as preparing your future PhotoBooklet with Michal Chojecki, owner of an independent publishing house, a specialist in stencil print techniques and bookbinding. You will have Federico available for image selection and any conceptual questions, as well as Martino Meli, a Florentine analog photographer and printer.

The workshop is open to anyone from beginners without any darkroom experience to photographers who feel stuck in their work and need a new direction for their creativity.
