Fall Caddo Lake All-Inclusive Photography Workshop 2026

Discover the Magic of Caddo Lake in Autumn
There’s no place on earth like Caddo Lake in the fall. It’s a photographer’s dream come true, with misty mornings, towering bald cypress covered in flaming moss, motionless reflections, and animals moving through the shadows.

And this year, we’re adding even more adventure.

You’ll explore the lake and the town of Uncertain, Texas, by private pontoon boat, mud boat, and golf cart, giving you multiple angles, hidden water trails, and new perspectives that go far beyond the usual workshop routes.

This is an all-inclusive, small-group, sunrise-to-sunset photography experience with home-cooked meals, personalized instruction, and access to some of the most iconic scenery in the South.

✨ What’s New for 2026?
➤ Mud Boat Expeditions (AM+PM)
Navigate narrow, photogenic channels deep inside the swamp—places the big boats can’t access.

➤ Sunset & Night-Sky Sessions
The golden hour, silhouettes, stars, and dock reflections are built into the schedule.

➤ Private Pontoon Boat Rides (AM + PM)
Your captain knows all the best spots for capturing pockets of light, observing weather patterns, and photographing wildlife.

➤ Optional kayaking exploration (Midday)
Kayaks are available midday for those wanting to explore independently.
Kayaking is optional and depends on availability and weather.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

Deposit & Cancellation Policy
At Jeff & Angie Photography, many of our workshops include arrangements such as lodging, transportation, permits, park access, boats, guides, and other services that require significant non-refundable commitments well in advance. Because of these factors, deposits are necessary to secure your spot. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for every workshop to protect your investment.

Deposit Schedule
A $500.00 deposit is due at the time of booking, unless other arrangements have been approved.
100% of the total workshop cost is due 120 days before the workshop's start date.
Cancellations
If an unexpected situation arises and you need to cancel, we will do everything possible to help fill your spot.

If we are able to replace you, we will refund the amount received from the new participant (up to what you have paid).
If we are unable to fill your spot, all deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable due to the advance commitments required for these trips.
Because life happens and nature is unpredictable, we strongly encourage all participants to carry travel insurance.

We are backed by a 5-star Google review.

Why should you come on your next photography tour or workshop with us? Things are a little different here at Jeff & Angie Photography, and we’re proud of that. In everything we do, we bring a friendly, down-to-earth spirit that comes from the heart. There is a lot of laughter, stories, support, and unforgettable wildlife moments at our workshops that make you remember why you fell in love with photography in the first place. We believe in being upfront, honest, and crystal-clear about what you can expect—no surprises, unless they’re the magical kind Mother Nature throws our way.

We treat you like a friend when you join us, not just a participant. We know that everyone has different hopes, dreams, and goals for their photography. We adapt to your needs, whether you want hands-on help and personalized lessons or just want to relax and enjoy the experience in peace. We’re just here to help, cheer you on, and share in your joy at every victory.
Under-promise, over-deliver, and make every moment memorable.
We’re committed to creating meaningful, confidence-building experiences grounded in kindness, trust, and a shared love of the natural world.

Come travel with us—and let’s create something unforgettable together.
Who are our workshops for?
This trip is for photographers of all levels, from those who have never used a camera to those who have been taking pictures for years. We’ll meet you where you are and answer your questions and share our techniques in the real world. We’ll spend time at the hotel going over post-processing tips and editing workflows when we’re not out capturing the moment. This will help you improve your photos no matter how much experience you have.

We offer pre-workshop classes.
All of the participants will be able to take classes before the workshop to help them feel confident and ready for our big adventure. Before we leave, we’ll set up a Zoom meeting to discuss the setup and give you some photography tips. This tour is a great fit for both new and experienced photographers, and birdwatchers are welcome too. There is no need to have any experience.
