Visual storytelling uses a series of photos to share a narrative about a place, a character, an issue or a cause. This August, tell your story under the guidance of Canadian Geographic Photographer in Residence Neil Ever Osborne.

With the majestic Bugaboo Spires as your backdrop and using multi-day helicopter rides to access vantage points under ideal light, this three-day August workshop with Canadian Mountain Holidays will allow you to create images that have a purpose.

Throughout this collaborative experience, you will learn how to make a compelling photographic essay while revealing the personal story behind your images. You’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the power of a series of images that can be used to engage audiences, and take your photographic pursuit to another level.

At the same time, enjoy the hospitality and comfort of the Bugaboos, CMH’s original backcountry luxury lodge, nestled at the foot of the stunning Bugaboo Glacier in British Columbia.

This workshop runs from August 11 to 14 and is open to photographers with moderate to advanced experience.

There are still spaces left in this one-of-a-kind photographic workshop. Contact Canadian Mountain Holidays to learn more details.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

NOTE ON PRICES:
All prices are per person based on double occupancy and subject to change and applicable local, provincial and federal taxes.

Single supplement is available by request on a space-available basis, depending on the lodge and the number of nights of your stay. As a solo traveler you may book on a twin-share basis and we will attempt to match you with a same-gender roommate. If we are unable to do so, you will not be charged the upgrade to single occupancy.

All vacation packages and arrangements made by our Vacation Planning Service must be prepaid with your Summer Adventure trip.

All US$ prices are based on the current US/CDN exchange rate as available on www.bankofcanada.ca. US$ prices are for information purposes only and are subject to change. The trip will be invoiced in Canadian dollars and will be subject to the then applicable exchange rate if paid by the guest in another currency. Banks and credit card companies may charge certain fees and/or use a different exchange rate for credit card invoicing purposes.

CHANGES / CANCELLATIONS:
If you wish to make changes to your confirmed holiday, a $75 fee will be applied.

In the unfortunate circumstance that you are not able to travel, a notice of cancellation must be received by telephone at the CMH office. The initial 20% deposit is non-refundable 30 days after booking.

If cancellation is received prior to 12 weeks before the trip, the remainder of any additional money received will be refunded. Less than 12 weeks before trip date, all monies received are non-refundable. You have the option to rebook within the same summer season subject to the change fee. If you can find a replacement for the trip booked, your entire deposit can be transferred to your replacement.
