Workshop Schedule

Each day we keep the following: lecture format in the mornings and hands on shooting with the model in the afternoon. Over the two days I will be covering how to use all sorts of modifiers such as soft boxes, the beauty dish, octagon banks, umbrellas, grids, etc., while working from an intuitive, feeling approach.

Day one topics

Day on will include: Think Like an Artist, Be a Creative Force. Take the Mystery out of Lighting. Four hours of hands on shooting with models in the afternoon. Late afternoon shot of a Harley-Davidson using Joel’s new incamera “Platography” techniqes.

Day two topics

Day two will include: Thriving in the Marketplace. Learn to Create any tectured background using a 50% gray sweep. Photoshop Compositing (Joel goes through one of his images showing how he creates a composite). Four hours of hands on shooting with models in the afternoon.

Meals & Accommodations

Travel and lodging are separate, but lunch will be provided at the Verrado Golf Club each of the two days.

Hotel Options near Verrado

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites and the Comfort Suites are conveniently located near the workshop. You can also check with Amy, as we have some Air BNB’s in Verrado that we hope to secure. Details will be available when you sign up.
