Are you looking for one of the best places to photograph in the world to create your own stunning images?

If you’re passionate about landscape photography, join us for our Best of Tuscany Photography Tour and Workshop. We will take you to photograph the most breathtaking landscapes in Tuscany including San Quirico in the Val D’Orcia region, a UNESCO World Cultural Landscape. Our photographers will guide you to enchanting places to photograph in areas that include lush, green rolling hills, majestic cypress trees, and villas dotting the landscape. We’ll follow scenic country roads to capture Villa Gladiatore, Podere Belvedere with its stunning views, and the amazing line of trees at Poggio Covilli.

We’ll also explore medieval towns and villages where you can capture historical architecture and daily life. We’ll take you to Siena, perched high on a hill, to photograph in the historic centre of the city including the famous Piazza del Campo. We’ll visit the charming 15th Century town of Pienza with Renaissance architecture. Montalcino looks like a classic fairy tale village that begs to be photographed with fortified walls and surrounding vineyards.

Rick Hulbert, acclaimed heritage and urban photographer from Vancouver will join our team of instructors for this Workshop. To help you get the most out of your time photographing in the field, our days include workshops on composition, exposure, and camera settings to capture the best light. Other workshops include long exposure and working with filters, technical and creative elements of photography, and post-processing using Lightroom. We will also provide opportunities for image reviews and feedback.

We will photograph at the best times of day including sunrises and sunsets. Some days we’ll be up and out before dawn to capture the landscape as the sun rises over the misty hills. Other days, we’ll photograph late into the evening to create images that glow with the light at sunset.
